Sanitary pads play a crucial role in maintaining girls’ and women’s hygiene during menstruation by absorbing menstrual fluid, keeping the body clean, and preventing infections.
“Poor menstrual hygiene poses serious health risks, including reproductive and urinary tract infections, which can lead to future complications. Failing to wash hands after changing menstrual products can spread infections, such as hepatitis B and thrush.”
